BUPECHIU

Building hope for children in Uganda

Our mission

To empower children to take responsibility for their own hopes, aspirations and, ultimately their own lives by developing their resilience, self leadership and problem-solving skills.

In most cases, this is best achieved in schools. So, our work concentrates on two areas;
We provide free training for teachers and other interested adults and young leaders.
We remove barriers that prevent some of the poorest and neediest of children from attending schools. This is particularly important for girls, orphans, children with disabilities and those in the deepest poverty.

Latest news

We need to raise money to transport 50 computers from the UK to schools in Uganda. This is an important step in the development of educational standards in Uganda. The computers will be going to 7 schools that do not have any computers at the moment. BUPECHIU have a team of volunteers ready to set up these computers in schools and provide FREE training for teachers and children in how to use them.

To do this we have set up a GoFund me page to help us raise the funds needed to transport these computers.

To achieve our mission, we are currently working on 5 projects. Details of these can be accessed using the links below:

We are lucky to work with the following partner organisations;
